Activity

This is the concept that most students don't understand as they typically store information in short-term memory to study for "the test" but I think our curriculum in PTA is great for encouraging long-term memory storage of concepts as we repeat several concepts in every term in some way, requiring students to reflect on what they have learned about it and review it again.

Working in the field with pediatric patients, I have seen my share of those with ASD and was aware of several of the signs and symptoms and while I incidence of diagnosis grew in the past few years, I was unaware of the statistics.

I think that online courses have the ability to really be beneficial if the components are done correctly with both aspects of synchronous vs asynchronous activities. Those who feel the need to have more interaction will benefit from the moments were there is synchronous discussion but I think these learners also need to recognize that participation in these types of activities will be better for them.

Exactly, not only must it be present in part of the institution but we hope that our student's share those values with us and they also demonstrate integrity throughout their educational experience.
