If student request education records, I would refer them to our Registrar, as she is the keeper of our records.  But will be able to provide them information regarding the time alloted for our Registrar to respond. And if in doubt about the policy, inform our student about the privacy disclosure and process.

I was not aware that when a student request their educational record or dispute information that the institution is allowed 45 days to reply and provide said information.  But I am glad to have my knowledge increased and refreshed with the FERPA and Privacy training activity.
