Activity

Critical thinking ask questions, encourage descision making, work in groups, connect different ideas, inspire creativity, and brainstorm.

Engagement with students and encouragement in the course material.

With the new ways of technology you should always have a back up plan if you encounter any issues.

I feel that active learning is defined as "anything that involves students doing things and thinking about the things they are doing".  Active learning encourages students to find ways to strengthen their resilience. Helps students become more determined when solving problems.

There are many different learning styles, and you need to figure out which one would work best for you and your students. I also learn the different formats of lectures.

The first impression is the last impression. Learn each individual student by their first name, or how they prefer to be called. Give them insight on your professional experience. Create a checklist and come up with an icebreaker.

Always be prepared. Know your textbooks, know your handout materials and create a check off list for yourself on things to do.

The 5 “C’s” (credible, candid, compassionate, committed and clear).  Always lead by example, be on time, prepared, and maintain a professional environment.
