We already use a combination of these tools in our online/hybrid program. From quiz assessments to essay writing. Something we do not do is anything collaborative. We have a form of Discussion assessment, students answering a question from previous weeks material that requires student responses. In this we can see how well they are comprehending the material on their own and they respond to other students with opinions regarding their chosen answer. We can also give feedback to each response in our own words and from out own experiences to help give them further information.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
