I learned that admissions staff at postsecondary schools in Florida have an important responsibility to ensure that admissions practices are fair, accurate, consistent, and compliant with applicable state and federal requirements. Compliance involves more than simply processing applications, it also includes protecting student information, providing accurate information to prospective students, following established institutional policies, and avoiding discriminatory or misleading admissions practices.
