No students should be denied equal education based on Coloe, race, nor religion.  All students  sghould be treated eually

ELL students need multiple form of evaluation.

Students should be made to feel comfortable when taking risk to learn English

Help student to celebrate diversity.  Encourage students to take risk to lean new english words

It is much harder for ELL students to learn content when they do not have the English skills necessary.  Plan to take time teaching necessary background language necessary

Help students to realize you are human.  Ease their fears, be straightforward.  Let students know you are there to help

many things need to be considered when you meet the students in your class.  Consider their agewhich directly relates tobackground knowledge.  Student situations such as fear and anxiety affect learning out come.  Manslow has basic needs that need to be considered.

It is very important tostay current in your content area.  Equally as important to create an instructionalptofessionaldevelopmeny.

A  Resouece Notebook is probably the Most important Notbook a Director can have access to.
