I have just completed the ED113 course. I honestly can say that I learned some techniques that I was unaware of and it will help me identify on how to deal more with adult learners. I am going to try implementing more of the Proactive Techniques.

What are some of your Classroom Management Best Practices? How effective are they?

I really enjoyed this class. Technology to me is a must for the time that we are in, however there are cons to depending totally on technology use in the classroom. It  can be self paced which helps students who may have learning challenges and it enables him/her to work at his/her own pace. The main issue with the technology is when it goes out or there are technical problems, if you solely rely on it alone then you can be left without lessons in the event there is an outage.

Comparing and Contrasting PowerPoint and Prezis, which one is considered to be better?
I would like to discuss the pros ad cons of Technology Integration in the classroom. I have had positive and negative experiences utilizing technology in the classroom. What are your thoughts on this?

I have been an educator for over 10 years now and I find it to be very rewarding. I didn't start out as a educator either and yes it is a challenge especially writing lesson plans and revamping curriculum.

These are some notes that I compiled from the course that may be useful to anyone taking this course ED112.

I agree with your statement. It does offer the flexibility of learning and it is good for those who may have full-time day jobs and cannot attend a traditional day program.

I really learned alot from this session. The information shared will help in positively motivated and engaging the students in a adult learning environment. Although some of the information I have been introduced before such as multiple assessments and frequent feedback it is important to reinforce those keys to ensure that in depth learning is taking place in the classroom. This is a very useful course.
