I thought it was interesting that students living in rural areas have such a high rate of suicide success.

The four rules of feedback were very useful and I enjoyed the questioning example regarding a four stroke engine... especially as I taught small engine repair for a year.

A culture of listening and keeping on task is important in PLC's. Keeping the group fairly small with an adequate amount of time for everyone to participate is important. 

The two foundational conditions of what we believe about the students and our commitments was a good summary for running a good PLC.

Wow! That was eye-opening. There have been so many times that PLC's were driven by Admin in my situation rather than what a PLC is supposed to be. I will be striving to carefully redirect the focus of PLC's to learning without dealing with content.

Career development for me has been in taking courses like this one and partnering with my peers in other schools and other related fields. These things have always been refreshing for me and help me to use these things as examples for my students.

Helping students to understand the making a career decision is not something that they will be stuck with for the rest of their life is critical for their mental health. Making a wrong or slightly wrong decision is better than not making a decision at all. One career can lead to another that is related or completely different. Helping students understand the this is a matter of life and not a matter of life and death is very important.

The layout of the how to was so clean and refreshing that it made me feel like a young person with a huge world of options.

In the investigation stage the two main areas of investigation are internal and external.
