Understanding the multiple intelligences idea i think is a great way to evaluate your delivery of the information in the classroom to students.

I agree this gives me a better insight to the adult learner and how to structure things better for the class and them.

Setting a fair and even grading sytem is not easy every class is a little different at what they may be good at, but if you set it up right everyone will benefit.

yes variance in the delivery or having multiple plans s great idea, also using student and administration to help unprepared students is critical also.

Soft skills are critical in the classroom environment both for instructor and student. Also using various methods to get the idea across is great thing to do.

I totally agree by showing up on time but being prepared is crucial for the class and students as a whole.

All I can say is the best way to learn from mistakes is to make them, learn from them and improve and improve and move on.

Yes I think we all have both of those types of students in our classes. I like the idea of the center stage student being the class note take per say. And walking around the class to let students know that you are watching and paying attention to them. Set standards also in class for that behavio.

The ice breaker methods work well and setup the class for the syllabus if done right. Then the student have a good platform to understand what the instructor and class is expecting of them.

Makes me think about what type of test to give, and what type of questions to answer.
