Activity

It is improtant for us to get feedback from all parts of the hiring process. We get feedback from our students, helps us understand the fit in the job, but also from our employer partners to understand how our grads are doing. This feedback should continue so that we can help where needed but also continue to provide feedback.

It is our job to help teach out students the entire job seach process. Starts with the resume, then searching for the role, teaching how to properly network and how to professionally accept or negotiate the offer. 

It is so improtant for us to know which programs need different strategies - find out which programs would benefit from externship and what types of job fairs would help others. 

 

I learned about the larger impact a successful Career Services department can have on the institution as a whole. Also learned about the impact and benefits of memberships to other organizations. This is something we will do a better job of in the future.
