I was suprised by the NACE survey that noted that IBM hires approximately 2,000 interns annually and converts more than half of them to full-time hires.  The volume of full time position that transition from internship positions was surprising.    

We already run virtual internships with a few companies.

We already help support the continuum by entrenching it in our CTE curriculum. However the district also embeds supports to ensure all students have access such as paying for any certifications required, busing students, ensure schedules are aligned to hosting WBL opportunities during the scheduled school day. 

No, as the Director for CTE, I'm well aware of the requirements for Perkins

CTE integration bouys attendance rates with our students, particularily in our males 9th grade students.   We also see decreases in drop out rates among our CTE students.
