Rubrics greatly improve student learning.

A rubric should be not be biased and should be have clarity.

Rubrics are needed in assessing students knowledge and subject matter.

Most rubrics evaluate only the final project. A carefully constructed rubric can same a boatload of time grading.

I like Ben Franklin's quote "Failure to plan is a plan for failure". Very true.

There are many ways an instructor can help students stay interested and grow in an Asynchroonous and Synchonous environment.

Clear communicaton is neccessary for for online courses.

Time management MUST be stressed for online students.

Rubics are very helpful to students in that in can help them become better judges of their work.
