I have learned what types of accommodations students with ADD/ADHA may need. Some include the following:

1. Giving directions in writing.

2. Allowing a longer time for tests.

3. Encouraging the student to sit near the source of instruction.

There are many methods that one must learn in order to help accommodate the many physical disabilities that one may encounter in a class room.

Many people think of disabilities as physical disabilities. But there are Sensory and Learning disabilities also.

A student needs to self-identify with his/her disability.

Early diagnosis is the key to an autistic child transitioning to adulthood more effectively.

Great retention involves establishing good relationships between the faculty and the students.

If an instructor learns their student's personality traits they can better understand how to effectively have them learn.

Its important to know how personality characteristics interact with students and how know the different learning syles of each student.

TC is a great tool to help better understand a student's personality.

Learning more about personality traits will help me deal with the diverse student population personalities.
