It is mind blowing how many disabilities that students may have and as an instructor you really need to know and understand how to provide quality instruction for them.

It is very important to understand the disabilities along with the plan set in place and how to properly accommodate the student.

Disabilities are not just handicaps. Their are a lot of attention and emotional disabilities as well.

Good testing strategies! Understanding the purpose of each strategy is key in assessing students learning. 

How to properly use communication skills. Also to use formative and summative assessments.  

Knowing and understanding the proper methods of questioning students is very important and can lead to organized class discussions and better learning opportunities. 

Learning styles are very important to the classroom climate. IT makes a big difference in the  teaching strategy used and reaching each student.
