Recording mistakes and corrections throughout the term is an excellent tool and I plan to start utilizing it!

When talking with an angry student is a fine line between maintaining your position and allowing the student to express themselves. I believe if students feel heard then the partnership between instructor and student is healthier and they will no longer be angry/disruptive.

Using different methods to approach students or to "allow" them to speak appears very helpful for classroom management. 

The explanation regarding the 'Whats In It for Me' was very helpful. I find that students do like to get down to the "nitty gritty" and know exactly what they will get from the course and how we can help them exceed in their career field.
