The biggest thing I took away from this course is to assert your presence, but in a friendly and supportive manner.  Do video presentations, video chats, live chats and discussion forums.   Most of all give feedback through email and stay VERY ORGANIZED!

I learned online behavior management through e-mails, referring back to policies and grading rubrics, having an online code of conduct, and soliciting participation from a quiet learner by identifying a topic they can speak to.

First, I learned the difference between synchronous and asynchronous discussion.  Next, I learned how to guide the discussions, provide student expectations for the discussion, and to give how to give feedback to students.

This module was extremely helpful to me in understanding how to manage a classroom online. I now know how to project my presence and authority and the best way to do that.  I now know how to establish relationships and trust with my students and how to make the class more interactive for them.  I have already made a video of my biography and added to my template.  Thanks!

I have learned that I must be knowledgable of the CMS as well as be able to teach the CMS to my students.  I have to structure my course content so that students can easily understand what they need to do, how they need to do, and when it is due.  I have to be available for help as well as know where to get help quickly if the hardware or software encounters hiccups.  I will be very organized in my delivery set up the most commonly used course structure of modules of lessons and topics within lessons.  I will… >>>
