The IPEDS report is required for "for profit institutions." It includes reporting on Retention, graduation and placement rates. In addition, default rates, are also reported. There are also limitations placed on how many courses an instructor can teach in a given time frame. When a school does not meet the requirements they can loose accreditiation.
