Activity

I feel that I lead by example and manage within my leadership abilities.

I really liked the session on getting started. The first part speaks volume on on getting past our fears that we may say something wrong. I think a lot of people avoid interaction for that reason alone. Great session. Thanks

There are several disabilities out here and several of these students are attending College. It is very important teacher/instructors are aware of all accomendations and make sure the students are educated on them....I also learned there is appropriate way to address students with disabilities without offending them.

The whole section on Over - Accommodation and Unfair Advantage was very informative. I think I fall in the area of over - Accommodation because I look at people with disabilities as less than rather than looking at them from a space of gifted.

I have a background in Special Education. A lot of this information was review which I am greatful for having the opportunity to review. The most information I have learned is the difference between K-12 and Higher education. Some of the rules policies and procedures apply to both areas however there are a few things that are different. Being an educator who has experienced both sides, this was very informative information.

Leadership can be a learn ability.  Leadership takes a clear mind. Leadership takes a lot of listening and planning accordingly. Leadership has a lot of professional and personal renewal at the end.
