An example of helping an angry student in the class is I pulled them into a quiet space to allow them to have this safe space to do their work. I allowed them to give me a signal as to when they were ready to talk and once I could see the signal I would then listen to what they are struggling with and it seemed this worked really well in creating a good rapport with the student and success in learning.

When a student starts blaming others for their lack of effort in the class it is important to give them encouragement and support.

I learned how student management also includes class management which includes managing the physical setting and educational experience.  It is important to reach every student using varies teaching strategies.

I need to include interactive lectures more so that brainstorming with the students will improve outcomes.

Motivating students by offering grades/rewards for learning your overall objectives which should then relate to their future career!

Instructional Objectives- A- Audience (know your audience), B- Behavior (what do you want your students to do), C-Condition (Rules for their performance) and D- Degree (level of proficiency). This acronym is helpful when creating objectives.

Effective teaching is "personal" with the ability to project your personality to create relationships with your students to engage them in further learning opportunities. For example, I am transparent and enjoy developing personal life testimonies into my lectures and engage students in my lessons.
