Chris, Many online instructors and institutions use the 24 or 48 hour rule. The key is to be consistent and, as you said, be clear through your communication. Thanks!

Lisa, Excellent. You are obviously communicating the expectations clearly and in a variety of ways. This will help students move toward the course objectives. Nice job.
Lisa, Sounds like you have a plan that works for you. I keep my weekends open, but if you work on Saturdays, make sure you take other down time. Thanks for your input.

Chris, Easier said than done, but keep trying. You and your family all deserve some quality time. Keep it up. Thanks for your input.

Chris, It sounds like you are very organized. Planners, smart phone, etc., are key tools we can use to help us be more organized. Don't forget to plan down time! ;-)
Lisa, I do the same thing. I love to use Jing to create a library of videos that students can access when they need more clarification on any topic. Thanks for adding to the conversation.

Stephanie, Good rule of thumb. The 24 or 48 hour rule is a good thing. It does minimize other emails. Good point. Thanks!

Stephanie and Robert, So, why continue to have them? Just wondering. Thanks for your input.
