Rasiel, Rubrics help students know what to expect and help instructors be consistent in their teaching.
Rasiel, You are correct in that the communication cycle has four components: sender, message, receiver, and feedback. It is important, as you noted, that you think about the course content and specific information you are conveying within this cycle. Thanks for you input.
Rasiel, Thanks for your organized thoughts. Making sure the correct technology is being used is very important. I am glad you also included the evaluation of the technology as well. It is a constant cycle to utilize technology and continually evaluate the process and technology to make sure it's viable. Thank you.

Kim, Thanks for offering feedback to others. It's great to learn from each other thorugh these forums.
Kim, Yes, there are many methods that work for a variety of students. The key is to figure out what works for your particulars students in each class.
Kim, I am glad to see that you are using rubrics. You can also have students self-assess before you assess using the rubric and peer assessment using the same rubric is a great way to allow for more feedback as well. Thank you.

Kim, Good point. We have to know (and our students have to know) what we are going to achieve before we get started. You should try to meet students's needs within the course. Thanks.
