Erica, Thanks for the tips. It's great info for others who are teaching online as well. Thanks for your input.
Erica, Definitely. Technology can be very costly and it may only work for one particular part/segment of your course. Think about the overall goal/outcomes and which technology will meet your needs. It's not always the most expensive technology.
Mitchell, You are right in that one specific type may not give you all the information you need. I like that you know the feedback can help make the course better. We need to get a variety of feedback from different groups to develop a well-rounded course. Thanks! Dr. Tena B. Crews

Sandy & Bill, I always provide the opportunity to get to know others. Some take advantage of it and some don't. It depends on which course I teach because in some courses I make it a mandate to develop a "home page" of sorts so that others can get to know their peers because they will later be working in groups. Thanks!

Sandy & Ken, Love the term "critical linkages." It helps me visualize what I'm doing - connecting things. Thank you.

Samia and William, Knowing where your students are "coming from" is essential. It's a part of the audience (your students) analysis.

samia, It's great that you noted the student focus. Thanks for keeping that in the front of our mind. Excellent.
Michael, Good point. Rubrics should be designed with appropriate criteria and learning outcomes to help the students understand the expectations and do better. But this is not grade inflation.
Camesha, i agree. The more we engage the students, the more buy in they will have.
