lindsey, Nice list. Thanks for adding to the conversation and pointing out the the communication tool is the center point for effective communication. Thanks!
Roland, Right on. We need to continue to get feedback from a variety of sources so we have well-rounded information. Then, we can continue with the evolution of changing our courses or assignments to make them better. Nice job.
Roland, Definitely. The assignments should connect directly to the course content to help the students further understand and achieve instructional objectives. I like that you point out the individualization of feedback as we are all different. Thanks for your input.

Thomas, Right on. I had a student email today to see if she could do everything early. I said, "Why not!" ;-) Love students like that. Thanks for your input.

Thomas, Planning ahead is a big factor in time management. This is a good skill we can help our students develop. Thanks for your input.
Dwayne, I do take into consideration student feedback. It's one type of feedback that it directly related to your teaching and it can help you think about changes that need to be made. Peers come at the evaluation in a different light, but their feedback also helps us think about the way we are teaching. Nice job.
Dwayne, The rubrics are key to the feedback process. It helps the students understand the expectations and helps the instructor be more consistent in their grading. Thanks!

Dwayne, Isn't it great when you know you've been doing something right. ;-) Glad that was reaffirmed for you. Thanks for your comments.

Roland, Right on. I'm teaching an 8 week course right now and the first night of class, after much discussion, the syllabus changed (to the students' advantage) that night. We have to be flexible, but understand the syllabus won't change for no apparent reason. There has to be a good reason behind the change. Thanks for your input.
