Earle, Clear, concise, communication - three of my favoite "C" words. It's followed by comprehend. ;-) Nice job.
Christine, Being a role model can go a long way. We can be a role model in our communication, the way we treat others, etc. Being timely in your communication is another way to serve as an excellent role model. Thanks for your input.
Christine, Students do need to know how to get around in the system, where to find things and understand what they are supposed to be doing. The communication tools can be the key to success. Thanks!
Augustine, "Power" is a good word to use. We have to work to motivate and engage students and we can do it in a positive way. Keep up the good work.

Augustine, Right on. Get to know your audience - your students. When we understand where they are coming from, we understand better how to deliver the content appropriately. Nice job.
Discussion Comment
Augustine, Definitely. So many things must be considered and understood. It's not just about the content, but so much more. I use the Quality Matters guidelines/rubric which is extremely helpful.

Steven , Yes, we have to make sure we review our rubrics to make sure they are measuring what we think they should be measuring. Thanks again for your input.
Steven , Ah - it's all in the criteria. Yes, they have to be clear and concise otherwise the students may not understand the expectations. This is true.
Randy, We do have to assess each tool and make sure it's meeting our students' needs, our needs and actually the content needs. I like your "right tool, right way, rith time, right reason." So true.
Nadia, Yes, starting positive is a great way to begin the feedback process. It's nice that you have developed a way to provide your constructive criticism in a positive way as well. The main thing is to stress that the feedback should help the students improve. Thanks!
