William, What a shame you have no input. Can you not alter how you teach if you still teach the necessary content?

David, Each audience (class of students) is different. The better we understand the audience, the better we can provide information in a variety of ways to help all learners. Thanks!
David, Consistency and ensuring the students understand the expectations are essential. To make sure the students have drawn an appropriate conclusion, an effective rubric will be helpful. Thanks for your posting and input.
Sam, Putting yourself in the student's position is a great thing. Being able to archive the information is an excellent point I don't think others have brought up. That's great as we continue to learn from each other. Thanks!
Anthony and Nicole, Thanks for continuing the conversation about consistency as is relates to communication. Keep up the good work.
Anthony, Yes, strong communication is essential no matter who is involved. Consistence and clarity is important as well. Thanks for your input.

Marcia, You are so right. We have to make sure the rubrics are measuring what they should be measuring and the criteria are appropriate. This will enhance the use of the rubrics. Thanks!
Twyla , It is great to talk to students about how and when you will be communicating with them. I have a friend who always has the students vote on ONE way to communicate and the choices are email, Facebook or Announcements. Once they vote on the one way, that's is the way he uses. This does not include additional assignments on the discussion board, etc. Thanks for your input in this forum.

William, Continue to serve as a good role model.
Anthony, Communication is essential no matter how you do it. Social media is not for everyone but it is always good to discuss with the students how they prefer to be communicated with and/or how you are going to communicate with them and how they should communicate with you and their peers. Students must also understand the course expectations and how to achieve them. Thanks for your input.
