LaBoore, How we deliver the content and provide communication to various students/generations is something important to think about. Thanks!

LaBoore and Mike, Clear articulation no matter how they do it, is the key. We all are on the same page I think about helping student improve their communication and writing. Thanks!

James, Right on! They not only come with different goals, but various experience and life skills that they can share with others. Thanks for your input.
LaBoore, I even tell my students that they communicate differently with their friends than they do with their parents or me. It's the save when we talk to them. We want to clearly communicate whether about assignments or providing feedback after the fact. Thanks for your input.
LaBoore and Nathna, Thanks for continuing the conversation. We have all had the student that always blames someone/something else. But, if we have a clear cut rubric used for the assessment, there should be less blaming. ;-) Thanks!
James, Setting those expectations and codes of conduct and making sure students understand them clearly is the first step. Nice job. Thanks for the tips.
Rachelle and Stacy, There are many tools that are already "in play" that, you're right, we may not need to add anything else. Just keep communicating. Thanks!
Rachelle, We, as instructors, do have to stay up to date with the technology and understand how to use it to best help students through the learning process. We need to assess the technology we do use to make sure it is doing what we want/need it to do. Thanks!
LaBoore, Accessibility is one thing that some people don't think about. I'm glad you brought it up. I'm glad you also mentioned training and support. So necessary. Thanks!
LaBoore, Interesting. I do teach a class in which I require students to purchase a Web cam, but they are really getting cheap, so I haven't had any problems. Thanks!
