Sara, Seems like we may never be content. ;-) We have to keep pushing forward with our edits to the course as a whole. Rubrics are one part of that. Thanks!

Terry, I'm glad you noted the rubrics help all parties involved in the online classroom. Nice job.

Terry, Right. We have all had varying experiences and environments which play a part in our learning. Good point. Thanks!
Terry, Yes, the platform may differ, but the components of an effective pattern of communication remain consistent. Thanks for your input!
Terry, Yes, I don't think anyone would argue the fact that communication is essential in the classroom - whether online, blended or F2F. We have to keep striving to do our best in that area. Thanks!
Sara, I agree. Various evaluations provide us with different feedback. Many times we need feedback from others to help us think about how we can improve. Thanks!
Sara, Great descriptions and tips for critical feedback. Your information will help others develop better feedback. I like the sandwich method as well.

Sara, We do need to be present in the course overall. When we provide meaningful, timely feedback, we develop that presence as well and help students improve and move forward. Thanks!
Saudat, I hope this course has met your needs and helped you become more current in your skills and knowledge. I'm glad you see professional development as advantageous. I love learning and professional development. Take care.
Saudat, Definitely! We have to keep remembering that we have to tie the objectives to the rubric and make sure all students understand what they're working toward. And, addressing questions to all students does help reduce email overload. Thanks!
