Cindy, Sometimes we really have to pull up our "organizational gene" to get everything done. We also have to help our students do that. Keeping a day for family is essential. Excellent!

Patricia, I do the 24 hour rule as well. I also tell my students (and put it in my syllabus) when I will be checking email and Blackboard (i.e., during my office hours (whether online or F2F from 10:00 a.m. - Noon Tuesday and Thursday, etc.). Thanks for your input.
