Awesome learning module, I learn that occasionally i will gravitate to my learning preferences in delivering course material in teaching. I need to remember that what works for me might not work for other and think of a more holistic approach by bringing in other ways to deliver material ( auditory, visuals, etc.) Im interested in using both rubrics and portfolios in my assessments to get a fuller picture of a students success and better opportunity to portray what they've learned from the class.

Very interesting topic, I always wanted to be more fluent in another language but haven't done any additional learning since french class in my high school years. Neat to know the cognitive skill that can come along with that. I think I'm my instructing i will allow more time for students to process English based course content and also encourage them to no steer away from their 1st or other languages to enhance their learning .

I learned in this topic about the social construct meaning behind culture and race and how to modify communication by using inclusive language when instructing. I am going to make more time to be prepared in assuring my course content i deliver is approachable by individuals with all different backgrounds

Very cool to learn about the idea of taking a step back and looking at instructing in a way that can communicate and teach individually instead of looking at the group as a whole. I am going to reflect on my teaching style to see if i am being inclusive from different life experiences and identifying where there may be some differences i never thought there were.
