Hi Toni, each course takes about 4 hours to complete. Once you enroll in a course you have 1 year from the enrollment date to complete the course. Hope that answers your question! :)

Hello Tom,

The Blogs section on the Group site is for sharing your wisdom, best practices, and valuable experiences. For example, you can publish your proven techniques, methods and strategies on the job. You can also share your action plans from training as well as your successes and challenges in applying what you learned and the outcomes achieved. You can also comment on your peers’ blog posts.

In the Discussions section on the Group site, you can ask a question, initiate a discussion, participate in discussions, or even facilitate discussions. For example:

As I was reading the lesson, I found an interesting article on the NY Times News Blog. Stated :

"Schools or colleges have two purposes as far as students are concerned.  The first is to educate.  The second is to place students in challenging and well-compensated positions after they graduate so they can use their educations to build careers and lives. Along with the quality of the faculty is the effectiveness of the job-placement office. The university is society’s gatekeeper.  Students see degrees as tickets of admission to the big show."

Hi Christine,

One extrinsic motivator could be awarding participation points for contributing to class discussions. Participation will allow for a more engaging and educational lecture and rewarding students with points will motivate them to participate in your lectures. This may also raise interest in the subject matter as a whole.
