I learned that the varied communication styles of the students must be integrated into the course to help with both the success of the students and the course itself

First time hearing the "netiquette"! I learned its important to establish guidelines for for communication participation to enhance and move the conversation forward, and that developing and modeling the type of communication thats expected for respectful communication.

I'm now interested in learning how to use social media, Twitter in particular, as a communication tool! But I learned that various technology communication tools must be investigated to ensure effective communication with students, including offering students to give formative and summative feedback.

I've learned that its important to have a really good undertstanding of your teaching style so that you can use the best technology tool to teach your students. Love the idea of using blogs for students to reflect and journal anonymously, including feedback about what works and doesn't work.
