I am the new guy at a new school that may not be receptive to new ideas.  they ahve had no staff changes in five years.  How do I encourage everyone to get on board with some new fresh ideas?

Doing the right thing the first time is how I was taught. Now that I am a mananger I have changed that mantra.  Do the right thing every time.  People need to realize that there are some policies and procedures that have no grey area.  Once you make friends with the fact that a compliant world is a world is a black and white world the easier and less stressful your worls will become.

Who Moved My Cheese? An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life, published in 1998, is amotivational book by Spencer Johnson written in the style of a parable or business fable. It describes change in one's work and life, and four typical reactions to said change by two mice and two "littlepeople", during their hunt for cheese. A New York Times businessbestseller since release, Who Moved My Cheese? remained on the list for almost five years and spent over 200 weeks on Publishers Weekly's hardcover nonfiction list.[1] It has sold more than 26 million copies worldwide in 37 languages and remains to be one of the best-selling business books.[2][3]
