I learned how important it is to understand the programs, student services, and marketing at my institution. This will help me give prospective students accurate information and answer their questions.

I learned how important it is for admissions paperwork to be completed correctly and to make sure students understand what they are signing. 

I learned how important it is for admissions staff to understand the FL rules and stay current on the school’s programs, policies, and procedures. This will assist in providing prospective students accurate information and help them make an informed decision about whether the school is a good fit for them

Being careful to stay compliant is important as my actions does not only affect me but also the university and students. In the age of social media we must ensure that anything we post that may be considered negative or misleading on our personal accounts also can have consequences on others. 

As a field representative, often I am the first point of contact for students. I get a lot of questions about transfer credits. This module taught me the importance of the proper way to respond to those questions.
