About me
I’m a DNP‑prepared nurse and currently the Assistant Dean of Nursing at Arizona College of Nursing. I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years, and during that time I’ve worked in a variety of leadership roles in the hospital setting—director, manager, supervisor—each one shaping how I lead, support teams, and approach patient care. I’m also certified in Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC‑MNN) and hold the NEA‑BC, making me a Board Certified Nursing Executive Advanced.
Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I’ve taught Family‑Centered Health Promotions, Leadership and Management, OB clinicals, and simulations, and I love helping students connect classroom learning to real‑life nursing.
At my core, I’m passionate about helping future nurses grow, build confidence, and step into the profession ready to make a real impact.
