Essay Questions can be used but it is important to give them examples of graded essays before the essay test so they know how it will be greaded. This will attempt to avoid the subjectivity of grading essay tests. 

Allowing students to make choices on how they will be greaded is a great idea as long as they are limited to some perameters.

I want to increase my ability to end with a strong closing with some type of review of the objectives.

Probing or funneling is very effective and I plan to use more of that in classroom lectures.

It was interesting to view the open ended question as an opportunity for the student to actually teach the answer to the other students.

I like the idea of using investigative questioning and also critical thinking to keep students engaged.

I learned how important it is to have a lesson plan but not try to include everything. it may need to be changed or even miss some points.

Problem solving seems like the best way to deliver material because it offers and opportunity for students to engage and work together in groups.

I think the checklist will be incredibly useful. I have previously referred to the lesson plan or the syllabus. this is a great idea!

Title IX is an extremely important initiative for safety of the students in the classroom. As an instructor I know it is my responsibility to make notice of Title IX and the policies and processes.
