I have learnt that in an online learning environment, proper understanding of the platform, course content and CMS is necessary  for the successful learning by the students. Structured course content, assignments and assessment methods are very important for an effective online learning.

various teaching-learning methods should be used to keep the students focussed and attentive during the classes and for the best outcomes.

The first class with the new students is very important. Introducing yourself and trying to memorize every student's name will break the ice and students will feel comfortable.

Having a clarity about the course content and preparation of the syllabus well in advance is a very important part of the planning. A clear syllabus not only helps the instructor to identifie the goals and objectives of the course, it also gives the students a great deal of ideas about their objectives. picking up good textbooks and formulating your own text is again vital for the success of the achievement of the goals as an instrutor.

An instructor has to be a model, motivator and a manager. one should dress and conduct in a frofessional way. professionalism is very important. A learning atmosphere rather than a teaching one is a better approach. And also professional growth is very important.
