I have taught several online classes and found this course very informative. It is difficult to sometimes reach students with various teaching styles and this course gave many tips to do this. I do find that administrative support for the instructor is very necessary to ensure that a student cannot just use constant excuses to blame for their poor behavior. I have been experimenting with adding more short videos, more computer page sharing, and various other on-line tips to encourage the student to attend the live chat sessions. Overall, good course with information I can use daily.
