I really find that playing a game called Taboo, which is on the line of translation, I find how well they can descibe a term or conept in their own words to another student.
i do feel that the standards should apply in all cases of to what are the requirements to teach in a post secondary school. i dthink the students will always ask the question as to why they are paying for a degree when i can get a job without one, since my instructor doesn't have one.
I get upset when I feel the students understand everything we went over, and then I hear them in the halls saying differently. I always ask them at the end of the class if there is any thing they need to over and didn't understand, and they no???

I always have the students write down what they expect they will learn in the class, sometimes they or confused as to what will be offered in the class.
I am glad I have them sign every thing we go over the first day of class. That is their time to understand and ask questions what will be expected. If they disagree later on, I have their signature to back me up.

I agree with the fact that it is more important to manage the outcome results, rather then how they got there
I find students like to compete, with using two lines of students and a timer, I'm sure they will be ready to test their knowledge. Is this wrong to have students compete?
