• Instructors can project their presence in the classroom by introducing yourself.
• Allowing students to introduce themselves.
• Sending group and individual e-mails / messages to students welcoming them and reassuring them of your presence.

Instructors should be comfortable and knowledgeable regarding using the CMS.  The overall sturcture of the CMS setup should have structual integreity and be easy to navigate for student. The content should be engaging for the active learner-centered learner.
