OK.  I have accidentally posted on other threads and have lost my comment.  Here it goes...

I had a few good takeaways from this module when it comes to applying to a middle school classroom, as well as other classes.  The online bio is huge for buy-in.  The other point....duh...a simple phrase of the time expectations to prepare the learner.  Brilliant.

Good point!  Everything can looo great online but if the student cannot connect or interact with the material......

 

I teach middle school tech in person.  It is a great learning opportunity for my students to really learn but because I am a "specials" type of class, I am considered a mainstream environment which makes for a lot of different learning styles and supplemental needs.  By offering my lessons in an online/blended model, I am offering my students the chance to do self paced learning and I really have more time to work with the students in an one on one basis, rather than as a full class.  I intend on taking the skills learned here and fine-tune my… >>>
