About me

Hi my name is Tara and I have been teaching the pharmacy technician course for a little over four years. I have been a pharmacy technician for more than 20 years and I absolutely love my job and love teaching my students about my job. I love talking, so lecturing comes natural for me. I use lots of personal stories, which seem to keep my students engaged and I am excited everytime one of my students get hired in our field. I hope to continue to teach because I love the profession and I encourage anyone to give it a try.

I also enjoyed this course and took active notes. I plan to put alot of the material to use in my classroom. I enjoyed the information given on using the note cards and color coding the ones with important information. I look forward to trying this out and also taking note of things that did not work so that I will not continue to use failed practices.
