The information l learned makes me more knowledgable of the proccess and polices and rules to be able to effectively communicate more accurately to potential students.

i learned the importance of staying up-to-date and being in compliance with rules and regulations ans policies and procedures.

I have learned that collecting resource material such as the catalog, marketing materials, orientation information, housing options, etc is useful. Speaking with instructors and sitting in on classes is also beneficial during the admissions process. I enjoyed and gained a lot from this section. I learned that there are so many useful resources available to students and how i can pss this information on to the students.

It is important to know your role as an admissions rep.  You must know the process of enrollment and make sure all paperwork is complete.  A student is not enrolled if they have not provided all the required information and/or documentation.  You must be able to explain some financial aid information to students and terms and agreements of the school. You must be able to go over the curriculum for the specific program as well as being knowledgable of the different programs offered by the school.

I have learned the importance of knowing: The different job specific roles and staying up to date and knowledgable of changes within policies, procedures and regulations.  That it is important to keep an easily accessible notebook of changes that occur. Know what type of marketing is being communicated to the potential students.  It's important to know the terminology used to pass on to potential students.  Always know that the information i give out is current and correct.
