I think it is a great idea to read all the essays of the class before grading and follow up by going back and grading without student identity attached.  I question how practical this is with students anxious to receive feedback and their grades as soon as possible.  Considering the workload I doubt very many teachers will do this even though it is the ideal. 

Learning is not just knowing facts, they are just the beginning.  The "flip" concept exposes the student to the concepts first, then enables subject development and application in the class environment.  This produces a more mature understanding and student growth

This course helped me to be more aware of how to address the needs of adult versus traditional students.  It gave practical meaning of the term "professionalism" as it applies to teaching students and meeting their complete needs both academic and personal.  I'm glad I chose this course

Calling students by name immediately at the beginning of a course has done much to indicate to students that I care about them individually and to increase my credibility as a teacher of students and not just of information

The best and most useful course in this series.  This ia where the rubber meets the road in communicating with and meeting the needs of a diverse group of students.
