Great points. I don't anticipate students that will disrupt, but I do anticipate those that are likely to not participate or those that will procrastinate. I liked the strategies suggested.
In Module 4, there were great strategies for dealing with problems that may arise - the biggest one that I anticipate is the procrastinators. I like the strategies for dealing with their excuses.
I am concerned about the recommendation to email students with feedback on how they did with engaging in online discussions, and let them know their scores. I have about 120 students. That is lots of emails to compose and give specific feedback.
I love the idea of establishing a relationship with the learners. Since I already have one, I can use these ideas to maintain. I liked the ideas of how to reach out to a student who seems to be uninvolved.
I am taking this course to help me continue to teach my students as we transition to an online learning environment. The first module did not teach me much of what I need to know for this, but I am excited to continue learning.
