Being an effective empathetic listener helps you modify even your original ideas to create solutions as a team. 

Being reminded of the 3 types of learners is always helpful when you need to help Instructors think of classroom activities and lesson development.  I'm thinking AI will be able to help with this as well.

Having empathy in your listening skills means tracking for physical signs and cues.  These action cues really do speak louder than words.
