Working together to solve problems is a good way to not be a micro manager and let others work out problems

I learned that I am not great with feedback and will try some of the valued lessons in this course

It takes a village to raise a child, and a whole organization to graduate a student.

Visualizing is something I will definitely be putting to work in the classroom. The best stories told are when you feel like you are in the story with the person telling it.  

seeing is believing, convincing a student that they can succeed can be quite the challenge but can also fuel success 

monitoring is important to see that a student is progressing in self-development and achieving their goals  

Having a placement department will help motivate students to graduate, and take away the fear of finding a job.

students that feel comfortable and connected to their school will have a better retention rate 

Mentoring students helps with retention by giving a student someone to discuss concerns with. It lets the student know the school cares

I really like the idea of a checklist, making sure the student has all the information about the course will help them be more successful.
