portfolios and badges are a great idea

Veteran students bring a lot of post-secondaries to our programs. 

I often refer to this as "buying in" meaning you will get out of this what you put in.  Some students do not see the value of the course content. 

A successful team must remember to stay focused on the goal as a team, and not individually.

Music and color can create a better learning environment. 

Although I learned "Every good boy does fine" 

Using Negative words in the classroom can alter learning. Instruct in a positive manner to address negativity in the classroom

Working together to solve problems is a good way to not be a micro manager and let others work out problems

I learned that I am not great with feedback and will try some of the valued lessons in this course

It takes a village to raise a child, and a whole organization to graduate a student.

Visualizing is something I will definitely be putting to work in the classroom. The best stories told are when you feel like you are in the story with the person telling it.
