What this section has made clear to me is the importance of the mentor and dedictation to the intern experience for the student.
There is a significant responsibility associated with being an internship supervisor. It is important that the supervisor introduces the intern to the employees of the workplace to help the intern student develop better skills working in the environment of employees. The supervisors themselves need to be trained to provide better guidance to the interns.
Internships are an invaluable resource, not only for the organization to see the performance and mentor a future employee, but also for the student to have an opportunity to apply what they have learned in a real-world working environment.

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
