In this module, I gained insight on formative and summative evaluations and how I can implement it to the evaluations to help make the revisions accordingly.

I also learnt about the ADDIE Model which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

There are 3 types of communications: Student-to-Content (S2C), Student-to-Instructor (S2I) and Student-to-Student (S2S). Students continuous support and frequent feedback in the online class.

Planning is the key to online teaching. Prioritizing teaching and life is important. Instructors need to set up the time frame for work and communicate it to students is a strategy to manage workload.

Time management is important for online instruction. Setting up a dedicated place to work avoids distractions and motivates to stay focused and organized.

In this module, I learned about tools for building effective rubrics. There are softwares like Word Processing and Spreadsheet Software which helps in designing rubric. Testing the effectiveness of rubric is a crucial step too.

This module helped me understand the different components of rubrics.

The most interesting part of this module was the mistakes in rubrics during the designing. This implies planning and laying ground work for rubrics is very important.

This module helped me expand my knowledge on rubrics and their purposes. It broadened my understanding of not only the advantages but also the drawbacks of the rubrics.

Rubrics are not only a tool for instructors to ease grading but is also a means for student to improve their quality of work.
