The model syllabus was helpful and the course deign plan model.

This has helped me to think about how to set up my course if we go online in the fall.  It has clarified the differences between quizzes and examinations.  I have also printed the sample syllabus in case I must make a syllabus for both online and in person content.

I have done all of this on my learning platform this spring.  The only thing I am not able to do at this time due to lack of high speed internt and no camera is live lessons.  I did synchoronous chat during scheduled class time where I would pose questions and the students would answer and respond to each other.  Also if kids could not login at that time they answered later - asynchonous.  I have used microsoft forms for quizzes and feedback.

This is a helpful way to think about how I will tackle online learning in the fall.  I like the idea of thinking in terms of modules, lessons, and topics.  This will then allow me to break down the ways in which my students will interact with the material and may help them with navigation.  My school system is using TEAMS and my courses for CTE are PLTW biomedical which has it own online platform.  If just find it difficult to translate one learning platform to another when the PLTW platform does not make it easy to copy documents and… >>>
