How difficult it is for someone with dyslexia to try to read some sentences. I hope to be able to offer additional support to students with any disabilities in order to help them be successful.

I learned that a great way to keep the students engages is to just use my own voice and body language to float around the room, and to make sure I pause and let students finish their questions rather than anticipate what they're asking and cut them off.

I think it's helpful to know that people might share in my fears that even though we may be an adequate scholar in our field, maybe we will struggle with being an effective facilitator. Being adaptable and willing to change and try new methods will make us better teachers and facilitators, and will allow our students a say so and guidance in how they learn.
